Megadosage of vit’mins, min’rals, herbs and a fierce will to live, dammit! have appeared to cut the symptoms and duration of the disease by half. Aaaanyway, an otherwise long post will be short. PS This Airborne product may or may not work, but I always felt much better after a dose.
I purchased for myself a late birthday present while killing layover time in the Charlotte airport: an Acme Studios pen and business card set. I liked the one I got for the fere. The pen is a rollerball, which writes smoothly. The pen has good heft. I really, really wanted a fountain pen. The quite nice young woman at the kiosk informed me that the pen had a fountain conversion - ‘though they were out of stock, she would be happy to send me one. Lo and behold, the kit arrived here in Bugger Hollow two days later. Customer service is not dead.
I bought the Charles & Ray Eames Chairs set. After looking at the Acme web site, I see I will probably be gettinng the Collage set as well, because I really gotta love that watch!
Now, I can look forward to some peaceful dead tree journalling.
